Make a journal to take with you on all your summer adventures! Learn how to make your journal, bind the pages and make pockets for any treasures, keepsakes or photos you collect throughout the summer. Then decorate as you please! Ages 6-12.

This program is designed for our littlest learners, caregivers hold babies on their laps as we share songs, rhymes, gentle movement exercises and of course books!

Join the Tri-Cities Historical Museum on a walking tour of downtown Spring Lake. Tour will begin at the Spring Lake District Library. Please remember to wear walking shoes.

Using all edible ingredients, build a lifelike terrarium inside a glass container. We'll vote for our favorite creations, then sample them. Tweens ages 8-12.

Bring your creative problem solving skills and survival instincts to this STEM program inspired by the popular I Survived book series. Ages 6-12

Work on your current knitting, stitching, beading, painting, felting (or other) project at this informal drop in craft circle. All artist and crafters are welcome. Bring your own or use our materials.

Join us on the second Friday of each month for a Play n Learn program designed for families with children ages 0-5. Monthly sessions are based on a children's book, with a story, finger plays, crafts, and activities.

Stop by the Makerspace to try your hand at making a short stop motion animation film! Characters, backdrops and equipment will be provided. Ages 6+. Younger filmmakers may require adult assistance.

Stop by the Makerspace any time between 1 and 7 PM to invent an aircraft and test its flightworthiness in our wind tunnel. What do you need to change to make it hover, float or fly? Ages 6-12.

Make a trio of paintings inspired by three of our National Parks: Arches, Hawaii Volcanoes and Yellowstone. Learn a little about each of these places and enjoy a little trail mix while you paint. Ages 6-12.

Explore the power of water through fun hands-on experiments at the Tanglefoot Park Splash Pad! Participants will likely get wet; please dress accordingly.

Drop by throughout the afternoon to sample a variety of chip flavors and try to guess which is which. Be sure to leave a one word review for each and we'll determine which chips reign supreme. Ages 13-18.
